Orders are not processed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. Petmate will make every effort to deliver your order according to your chosen shipping method, but unforeseen issues may cause delays in the actual delivery date.
These shipping methods are available for every order and will be billed accordingly. (All options exclude Saturday and Sunday)
*Orders must be received in our system by 11:00 AM CST to Ship the next business day. If your order is placed after 11:00 AM CST, it will be shipped the following business day.
Ground: 3 to 5 Business Days
Second Day Air: 2 Business Days
Standard Overnight: 1 Business Day*
Depending on the motor freight carrier, items shipped by motor freight may take up to 10 business days for delivery.
Orders can be shipped within the contiguous United States, which includes the 48 adjoining states and the District of Columbia.
Delivery to military addresses may take up to 24 days using standard parcel or FedEx Smart Post.
We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
FREE SHIPPING! We want you to enjoy time with your pet, so we’ll make it easy. Most orders over $49 ship free via FedEx Ground Shipping (within the 48 contiguous United States). Express shipping, kennel doors, and oversized items are excluded. If freight shipping charges apply, details will be noted on the Checkout page. Discounts and tax are not included in the $49+ calculation.
International Shipping: Petmate currently ships only within the United States. Select Petmate brands and products may be available internationally through authorized retail and distribution partners.
How we determine shipping rates:
Please note that the order totals during checkout reflect the estimated sales tax. The actual charge to your form of payment will include applicable state and local sales taxes and will be calculated when your order is shipped.
Shipping rates are calculated based on the shipping address and the selected shipping method. All shipping costs include handling and may be subject to tax.
To determine the applicable shipping rate for items in your cart, go to checkout and enter your shipping and billing information. The shipping rates by shipping service will be displayed. The total of your order, including merchandise, shipping, and tax, will be shown before your final confirmation.
Due to size or weight, some items may require an additional delivery charge in addition to our Standard Shipping and Handling Charges. These charges are stated on the items' Product Detail Page.
Tracking your order:
Once your order has shipped, the tracking number will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Click the link in the email to track your package.
In the unlikely event that a product you have chosen is unavailable for shipment at the time of purchase, the item will be removed from your order, and you will not be charged for it. You will need to reorder this item once it is back in stock.
If your order is canceled, we will notify you by email. Please check petmate.com regularly to find out when the item is available again, or you can choose to be notified via email when the item is back in stock.
